Privacy Policy

Video Pencil is an iPad app developed and operated by Good To Hear Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. This policy covers the Video Pencil app and its in-app purchases, including the Football Toolkit.

What stays on your iPad

Videos you load, your drawings and your recordings stay on your iPad. When you connect Video Pencil to your own devices, such as CueCam Presenter on your Mac, Shoot or Zoom, video and drawings travel directly between those devices over your local network. They are never sent to our servers.

What we collect

Video Pencil does not include advertising or third-party analytics, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

If you connect Video Pencil to Zoom, we store your Zoom user ID, your Zoom access and refresh tokens, and a pairing token linked to your Zoom user ID. These are used only to connect your iPad to your Zoom session.

If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name or payment details. Apple tells the app which purchases are active on your Apple ID so it can unlock them. Apple's handling of your data is covered by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Data retention

Zoom tokens and pairing tokens are kept until you remove the app from your Zoom account or ask us to delete them. Emails are kept for as long as they are needed to support you. We process deletion requests within 30 days.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EEA, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@goodtohear.co.uk. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Video Pencil is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
